Alec Zorich
Alec Zorich is an attorney known for his dedication and tenacity in advocating for his clients. Raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Alec earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, where he also spent a transformative year studying abroad at Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea. During this time, he lived in multiple cities across the country and traveled extensively throughout Asia.
While in law school, Alec displayed exceptional leadership and involvement, serving on the boards of two legal journals, the Student Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas Student Division. As a Presidential Fellow in the school’s honors program, he earned multiple awards and scholarships for his academic and extracurricular achievements. Alec also spent a summer studying cross-border transactions and corporate compliance at Greenwich University in London.
Before joining Trey Barton Law, Alec developed a legal foundation in international trade, corporate compliance, and workers’ compensation matters. His experience includes two judicial internships with a Federal District Judge and a Federal Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Texas. He also contributed to Texas Law Help, assisting indigent individuals with legal issues, and worked with several firms specializing in international business, international trade, and insurance defense. Now, Alec brings his foundational skills to Trey Barton Law to fight against insurance companies wrongfully denying his client’s claims.
Alec is licensed in the State of Texas and the District of Colombia. Alec is also admitted to the Southern District of Texas and the Court of International Trade.
